Thank you to the Freies Musical Ensemble Munster for your heartfelt production of “Imagine This.” Your production gave us hope that even the deepest wounds can heal through the power of art. Your all-volunteer ensemble brought us to tears with your heartfelt telling of this very difficult story. For a German cast and crew to undertake the massive effort of producing this musical is challenging, to say the least. We truly appreciate your intensive research into the history, and the fact that you asked yourselves some difficult questions-- why? How could this happen? And most importantly, how do we prevent it from ever happening again? In the words of one cast member, "performing in this show made something that felt so distant into something that is very real." I think I speak for our entire group when I say that I've never experienced an evening of performance art that inspired me more deeply. We also truly appreciated the beautiful banquet you prepared for our visit, what an unexpected treat!
